On March 1, the Bintan Island County Government of Riau Islands Province joined hands with  Bintan Alumina Indonesia Co., Ltd. (PT.BAI) to hold the 2024 large-scale job fair in the auditorium of the business district of Bintan Nanshan Industrial Park BAI. The job fair lasted for three days. Bintan Nanshan Industrial Park in Indonesia is located in Bintan Island, Riau Islands Province, Indonesia. The project covers an area of approximately 4578.6 hectares. The project was constructed and put into operation in accordance with the "port-power-alumina-electrolytic aluminum" industrial model. It has been fully completed with an annual output of 2 million tons. Alumina plants, power plants, coal-to-gas plants and supporting ports with an annual throughput of 20 million tons have been constructed. In 2024, the company will begin to expand its alumina production capacity by 2 million tons in phases. At the same time, it will build a 70,000-ton terminal and six 40,000 Nm3 gas furnaces. Construction is currently underway. The park will apply internationally leading health, safety, and environmental protection standards, adopt innovative production technologies and processes, reduce pollution and energy consumption, and ensure sustainable development.
