On May 15, 2025, PT Bintan Alumina Indonesia marked an important milestone - the raw material plant of the Phase III alumina project started loading the mine, and the dissolution unit simultaneously started the water and steam heat test, marking that the Phase III project has entered the trial production stage.

As the core initial link in the alumina production process, the raw material plant undertakes the main task of grinding raw materials such as bauxite to fine powder, providing high-quality slurry for subsequent processes. The successful operation of the raw material plant indicates that the raw material supply system of the entire project has been opened up. At the same time, the inlet steam heat test of the dissolution unit is also proceeding steadily. As the steam is slowly injected, the equipment gradually heats up, and the entire unit gradually demonstrates its efficient and stable production capacity, providing a strong guarantee for the subsequent production link.
