On September 6, the 2026 Conference on the Development of the Science and Technology Innovation Industry and Securities Industry, together with the Golden Bull Awards Ceremony for Listed Companies (Hong Kong Stocks), organized by China Securities Journal, a newspaper directly affiliated with Xinhua News Agency, was grandly held in Xiamen. Industry leaders and renowned experts from China and abroad gathered in the Egret Island to discuss industry-finance collaboration and explore new opportunities for cooperation. Liu Jian, Deputy Director and Member of the Party Leadership Group of Xinhua News Agency, and Lin Tao, Member of the Standing Committee of the Fujian Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Xiamen Municipal Party Committee, delivered speeches respectively. Li Meng, former Vice Minister of the Ministry of Science and Technology and Chairman of the China Society for Sustainable Development, delivered a keynote speech.
The conference, themed “Connecting Global Capital and Creating the Future of Industry Together,” brought together more than 240 listed companies, securities firms, and investment institutions. Nanshan Aluminium International was honored with the “2026 Overseas Expansion Innovation Golden Bull Award” for its global overseas presence and commitment to green and sustainable development.

Since its establishment in 1999, the Golden Bull Awards have undergone more than two decades of continuous development and refinement, establishing a rigorous and objective evaluation system. The awards are not only highly credible benchmark awards in China's capital market, but also an important indicator for assessing the high-quality development of companies listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The awards focus on the comprehensive performance of enterprises across four key dimensions: global industrial presence, technological and business model innovation, localization integration, and sustainable commercial value.

Going Global Is Not Merely About Expansion, but About Building a Sustainable Long-Term Competitive Moat
Expanding into global markets requires both the courage to explore new frontiers and the wisdom of strategic planning. On Bintan Island, Indonesia, Nanshan Aluminium International is based in the Galang Batang Special Economic Zone and is developing a modern aluminum industrial park to high standards. The combined advantages of location and favorable policies provide strong support, while Indonesia’s high-grade bauxite and high-quality coal ensure convenient access to raw materials. The company’s self-developed deep-water berths and supporting power plants enable independent and controllable logistics and energy operations. The convergence and synergy of multiple advantages in resources, policies, location, and infrastructure have established a new benchmark for the aluminum industry in Southeast Asia.
Building scale, breaking through into the market, and winning through cost efficiency constitute three solid answers to the rigorous test of global expansion: with a designed annual alumina production capacity of 4 million tonnes, the company ranks among the leading producers in Southeast Asia. In 2026, as the international industry faced mounting pressure, the company maintained a firm foothold amid market volatility through a stable supply chain and reliable quality assurance, further strengthening the foundation for steady development. Its integrated end-to-end industrial chain delivers significant cost advantages and establishes a strong barrier capable of withstanding industry cycles.
Prices may fluctuate with industry cycles, but core competitive barriers remain resilient over time. Locating operations close to resources is only the first step; the real strength lies in exporting advanced technologies, international standards, and mature operational expertise to establish a high-standard industrial base. Leveraging Indonesia’s resource advantages and the tax incentives offered by the Special Economic Zone, together with efficient coordination across the entire industrial chain, the company achieves globally competitive production costs, promotes the deep integration of the industrial, technological, and value chains, and explores a new path for the high-quality global expansion of the aluminum industry.
Setting Sail from Bintan, Embarking on a Journey to the World
If forward-looking strategic planning provides the framework for development, deep integrated operations forge the core competitive advantages.
01 Resource Integration
An end-to-end closed-loop system turns advantages into tangible results. With supporting infrastructure including “70,000-tonne-class + 35,000-tonne-class + 10,000-tonne-class” deep-water terminals, captive power plants, coal-to-gas facilities, water purification systems, and other utilities, the company has established an integrated industrial ecosystem connecting the “Port — Power Center — Alumina.” This effectively reduces overall costs across the entire value chain and transforms resource advantages into sustainable long-term competitive advantages.
02 Technology Integration
Innovation empowers the development of a green and intelligent benchmark. The company adopts the low-temperature Bayer process to produce high-quality metallurgical-grade alumina, supported by an automated intelligent control system to achieve refined management and control throughout the entire production process. Low-carbon technologies, including waste heat recovery, water recycling and reuse, and resource utilization of solid waste, are systematically implemented to continuously reduce costs, improve quality, and promote green operations, establishing a benchmark for modern green and intelligent factories.
03 Responsibility Integration
Deeply rooted in the local community, the company builds the foundation for shared development. It has established a full-cycle local talent development system, with a localized management team taking shape steadily. At the same time, the company promotes community development initiatives and cultivates local suppliers, effectively driving employment in communities surrounding the Special Economic Zone and upgrading supporting industries. This enables corporate performance to move in harmony with local economic and social development and strengthens the foundation for long-term operations under the ESG framework.
The deeper logic lies in this: amid intensifying volatility in global energy and supply chains, the company secures long-term cost advantages through its integrated industrial park, builds competitive barriers through technological standards, and demonstrates a long-term commitment through deep local operations—charting a replicable, globally competitive, and high-quality path for international expansion.

Advancing Across the Entire Value Chain, Embarking on a New Journey of Aluminum Industry Integration
At the beginning of 2026, Nanshan Aluminium International officially commenced preparations for its 250,000-ton-per-year electrolytic aluminum project. At the industrial park level, supporting upstream and downstream facilities, including anode facilities, are also being planned simultaneously. This marks the accelerated formation of the company’s vertically integrated industrial closed loop of “Alumina — Electrolytic Aluminum — Deep Processing” in the Galang Batang Special Economic Zone in Indonesia. By extending further into high-value-added segments of the industrial chain, the company will further secure downstream profit margins and mitigate cyclical fluctuations in the upstream alumina segment, thereby generating stable returns capable of withstanding long-term industry cycles.
Leveraging the international capital platform of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, Nanshan Aluminium International is transforming its Bintan industrial cluster into an important pillar of the global aluminum supply chain. From an ambitious blueprint to a modern industrial park, high-quality aluminum products from the equatorial region are continuously flowing into the development of the global aluminum industry.
Looking ahead, the company will remain committed to its global development strategy, deepen its presence in overseas markets, uphold innovation-driven development, and implement the principles of green development. Working together with partners from all sectors for mutual benefit, the company will continue to achieve breakthroughs and pursue continuous upgrading amid the transformation of the global aluminum industry landscape, writing a new chapter in its international development.
